　Not only is Ryugumon beautiful in appearance, it also possesses advanced combat abilities. The peaceful nature of the Dragon Crystal Palace, a paradise to all Digimon that live in its waters, is thanks to Ryugumon. It is revered as both the palace's master and guardian.
　It possesses high intelligence and a peaceful disposition. By nature it despises conflict of any sort, but should harm come to the Dragon Crystal Palace, Ryugumon will release all of its mystical power to oppose the threat. Ryugumon can absorb energy through the fins on its tail, or it can share that energy with others. It also bears the responsibility of purifying the Dragon Crystal Palace to its normal state.
　As for special moves, Ryugumon can utilize water pressure to encircle an enemy and crush it with Ceremonial Sea Summon. And with Wadatsumi Purification, a devastating laser is unleashed from its head.
