After successfully acquiring accurate information from several investigations, Espimon upgrades its functions in order to gain more precise data. It can fly, sail, or dive long distances, going as deep as 20,000 meters down the Net Ocean or the same distance up into the sky to investigate hiding Digimon. Its camouflage move Divanish has also been upgraded. All traces of HoverEspimon will disappear, both visual and auditory, so it can easily infiltrate as needed or confuse its enemies. It utilizes its VR goggles to accurately calculate where targets will be several seconds in the future.
HoverEspimon's strongest attack is Stamper Missile, in which it fires missiles from the two launchers on its back. It can also shoot the Vulcan cannon on its chest with Chest Cannon, or throw up a smokescreen to hide itself and its allies with Dronger, the latter of which is useful in strengthening its surveillance abilities. There are rumors that there are Crack Teams in various areas using HoverEspimon to engage in wars of intelligence.
