An Armor Insectoid Digimon that has Digivolved with the Digi-Egg of Knowledge. Like Flybeemon and Honeybeemon, this mythical Digimon is born from the power of Digi-Eggs during a mass outbreak of Kunemon. Butterflymon inhabits regions with warm climates and flower fields. It hates conflict, and has a friendly personality. Butterflymon uses its special move Sweet Pheromone to protect itself when its back is against the wall, scattering hallucinatory program spores from its wings to confuse the enemy. This hallucinatory program eases the hostility of the opponent Digimon, letting Butterflymon end the battle without inflicting harm.
