There is a style of swordsmanship that has been passed down since ancient times in the eastern Digital World. Established in perilous mountain ranges, this style is known as "Meido-Uryu" and is distinctive for its sword techniques with names containing the meaning of rain. It is said that Digimon who complete the grueling training of this style will Digivolve into Murasamemon as proof of their mastery of Meido-Uryu. There are likely very few Digimon who can withstand the ferocious techniques Murasamemon unleashes with its enormous sword, which it wields with effortless strength and skill. Murasamemon uses three special sword arts depending on the situation in battle. Known as the "forceful" blade that cuts through even the sturdiest defenses, Gonozan: Murashigure is a single, cleaving strike from a high stance. Next is Jyunozan: Tsukishigure, the "flexible" blade that can deflect any attack from a low stance. The third move is Tsuinozan: Koku, the "final" blade. Resting the sword on its right shoulder, Murasamemon leaps toward the enemy, spinning vertically in the air to increase its power before delivering a deadly strike. Legend says that those defeated by a Meido-Uryu sword technique experience visions of thunderous rain in their final moments.
