A monstrous Deity Digimon with four arms. This being with godlike power appears in folktales passed down through the oral traditions of a school of swordsmanship from the eastern Digital World. It is believed that in ancient times, a Digimon in the eastern Digital World known as the "God of Destruction" destroyed the world and remade it. According to the legends, this God of Destruction had a trusted retainer: Habakirimon. Loyal to its master, Habakirimon made use of its immense power to take part in the destruction of the world. While Habakirimon is a skilled swordsman and wields its giant seven-branched sword "Futsushimitama no Tsurugi" with ease, it also excels in close-range combat, using its four arms to seize the advantage. As a Digimon, it possesses exceptional attack power, but when fighting alongside its master, it seems to be able to call upon the blessing of the God of Destruction to temporarily raise its combat abilities to its master's level.
Habakirimon's special move Habakiri gathers the aura surging throughout its body into Futsushimitama no Tsurugi and unleashes a slashing attack that devastates not only the target, but the surrounding area as well. Futsushimitama no Tsurugi can also be split into seven blades, which can be manipulated by Habakirimon's thoughts to strike from all directions in a technique called Aramasa.
As a reward for Habakirimon's loyalty, the God of Destruction allegedly incorporated the name Habakiri into one of its own special moves, though the veracity of this claim is unknown. Upon recreating the world, the God of Destruction lost its powers and vanished. It is said that to this day, Habakirimon continues to wait in its castle for its master's return.
