An Evil King Digimon who rules over Yomi, the underworld. Digimon in the eastern Digital World are sent to this realm after death. The bluish-white and red familiars floating by Enmamon's side that resemble human souls are respectively called Zenzu and Akuzu.
　The two inscribe DigiCore information onto scrolls for Enmamon to examine. Should a DigiCore be determined to contain a bug, that DigiCore is confined within Yomi, never to be reincarnated.
　Enmamon's word dictates the laws of Yomi, and it rules with an iron fist, punishing those who attempt to escape. Yet, it too is also bound by the same system, unable to ascend to the outside world. It possesses a mirror capable of reflecting all attacks named the Mirror of Retribution, which makes defeating Enmamon in the underworld impossible.
　Using its special move Yama's Descent, Enmamon swings its ritual baton downward to conjure a giant fist of hellfire above its target, which it then brings crashing down on the target's head.
